Pressing shift to run is such a foreign concept to me it honestly threw me off reading. It’s almost always crouch my experience lol

In which games is shift bound to crouch? I can only think of Minecraft (though it’s not really a “crouch”).

I think it's mainly just Minecraft.

Yeah, then again, mc is one of the few games i play a lot with sneak/crouch mechanics (athough right now i play 1.12.2 mostly for nomifactory gtceu, so no crouch)

I will never back down from the death hill of “SHIFT is run, CTRL is crouch.” I don’t care what Minecraft’s defaults say, every other game I’ve played has had it this way.

Nah, shift is run, c is crouch. Otherwise in games which have a slide mechanic, it's too difficult to press shift and ctrl at the same time

Or alternatively ctrl is crouch toggle, c is crouch hold
