I ran a NSFW subreddit that had ~150k people before I took it private. I’m pretty well into fully switching to Lemmy at this point and I haven’t been back over there since.

Do you think it’s better to reopen the subreddit and just not actively moderate or better to keep it dark?

Keep it dark. That way, your switch is visible and you will not leave an unmoderated NSFW sub for the CP crowd to take over.

I kind of like the idea of it reopening but letting it slowly turn to shit as a stop updating all the spam blocks I have.
