Penpot, inkscape, gimp, krita. You get no preset templates but they all do the same thing as canva. If you're not looking for something opensource then you can try postermywall.
Appreciate it, but yeah those first, although great tools, I believe it would take a long time to get pretty presentations up and running quickly. Thanks though!
Penpot is quite easy to use and show a presentation in. Use unsplash or pexels for images and the prototype view for presenting. If you're not looking for FOSS there's a lot of AI presentation tools out there.
Yeah it seems quite similar to Figma which I have a lot of experience with, so at least it could be a good alternative for that :)
If you're looking for presentations, you can try Xmind. It's not opensource, but it's available on Linux and it's got something called "presentation mode" which is absolutely amazing.
