Dear fellow citizens of Georgia,
I, Sydney Powell, am writing this letter to extend my deepest apologies for my role in attempting to overturn the 2020 election results. I recognize that my actions have caused significant concern and division, and I take full responsibility for my misguided involvement.
In addition to acknowledging my mistakes, I must also address my association with former President Donald Trump in these efforts. It has become clear to me that President Trump's repeated false claims about the 2020 election results in Georgia and other states contributed to the confusion and distrust that surrounded the election process.
