Thoughts on posting spoilers?

I donβt see any rules or guidelines for posting in the side bar, so was curious how we feel about posts with qualifying and race results? The f1 sub always posts a graphic with the top 3 as well as the classification, while the other f1 community here on Lemmy has a rule against posting any spoilers. Personally I always liked seeing the results and reading the discussions about them on the subreddit, but curious to see others opinions.

Our subscribers voted for no spoilers in post titles, but that is the only place spoilers are not permitted. It was a close vote, with around 50% voting for no spoilers, the rest being split between spoilers and unsure.
A spoiler for us is defined as a piece of information which allows users to derive a driver's finishing position of a competitive session.
Feels like that is a reasonable compromise. Thumbnails and post content is not moderated currently. With some clients not rendering the spoiler tags on the post preview, we felt it was pointless trying to enforce them.
