Holy shit, death penalty caught me off guard
For the record, death with reprieve isn't death. It's "we could have killed you but we're gonna let you live. If you fuck up during the reprieve period, you're a goner"

The charge Alex Jones should’ve gotten.
Honestly, I really like that idea as a form of punishment. Someone who is truly irredeemable will probably go back to their corrupt ways during that period, convinced they won't get caught, but someone who can be reformed and redeemed will actively try to be a better person during that time.
