Crash detection is one of those features you forget about having on your watch or phone, but it makes a huge impact when it's needed.

You might also try a more conventional LifeAlert necklace or something. I had briefly considered Apple Watch for my Mom, but she wouldn’t be able to use it. Even with the alert necklace, she keeps taking it off to shower when that’s where she really needs to wear it
