*** Giveaway two : Batman: Arkham City - Game of the Year Edition ***
It's nice of you to do these.
I played Arkham Asylum, which I think was the first in the series. I haven't finished it, but it was pretty fun. It did seem like a reasonably good representation of the Bat's style. Is one of the series generally considered the best? This one (Arkham City) looks rather different that the one I played.
City improves on a lot of the batman mechanics and the variety of enemies goes up. I think it's the better of the two.
However, it is a very different game, moving from a metroidvania inspired small locale to a big open world. If you don't like traversing/exploring open worlds you might find it to be a downgrade. If you do, it's a blast and moving around the city is an absolute joy.
I'm mostly through Spider-Man (not the newest one) and traveling the city is my favorite part of the game! In the old PS2 Spiderman it was the same.
