So if it's not always frmicide it's not a valid concern? Check the stats. In Spain ex husband killing his ex (and sometimes children) is a weekly occurrence. Of course there are other kinds of murders but it doesn't mean that femicide is not an issue worth addressing.

The issue is that that proposed solutions focus exclusively on offering more protection to women when very often the source of the problem is huge disparity in power in family courts. In a divorce case women will most likely get full custody, alimony and the house so men are left with diminished income and homeless which naturally leads to anger. Yet I never heard anyone talk about it. Of course it's not an excuse and you still you have to be a monster to kill women and kids but changing family courts is part of the solution.

And femicide is a valid concern in many countries. Check the numbers for Spain and Australia for example. Ex girlfriends killing men is rare, ex boyfriends/husbands killing women happens weekly.
