While a lot of what he writes is dumb shit, he still has quite a few nuggets of wisdom. "This is not to be a POLITICAL revolution. Its object will be to overthrow not governments but the economic and technological basis of the present society." I really feel that all that is missing from that sentence is a "just" right before "governments". "Revolution is Easier than Reform" I suspect at least a few of us agree with this.
On to the dumb shit. "transexuality was fairly common among some of the American Indian tribes" nice that he knows this, doing a lot better than modern conservatives, not so nice that this is one of his examples of how not all was nice in the pre-industrial revolution times. "Political correctness has its stronghold among university professors" honestly the more I read the more I think he sounds like a smarter version of modern conservatives.
I think "It would be better to dump the whole stinking system and take the consequences." really shows both the core of his beliefs and the flaws inherent in them.
"Many leftists are motivated also by hostility, but the hostility probably results in part from a frustrated need for power."
