I don't know if postingna Boondocks meme is a good idea on Lemmygrad since I can't figure out how it's satire.
What do you mean? It’s classic and very funny. Do you want me to explain the jokes to you? Maybe it’s because you aren’t from the US or familiar with the New Afrikan perspective. Btw I removed all the ones that are strange if you aren’t familiar with early 00’s culture (I wasn’t alive, but I’ve learned a good bit about the time).
Are the cartoons worth watching?
ABSOLUTELY! The humor can be a bit rough around the edges, but you have to consider the creators and the time that it came out. Overall I rate it in my top 15 favorite shows, nearly every episode is iconic in its own way
I’ve seen a bit of it, it’s decent. If you consider tv a reasonable use of your time, then sure, it’s worth watching. The jokes are less time specific than the comic from 2003.
Absolutely but since it was made for Black audiences the jokes might not hit or might even be offensive
I’m a cracker and I liked it. Its probably different for non-USians though.
Yeah I'd say if you at least live here you could understand it, lol. Brilliant satire honestly
Never watched or seen boondocks before but it rhe shared strips seemed extremely topical.
Yea they were competing against South Park at the time, if you weren’t topical and keeping up with current trends and major events, then it would be tough to make a good satirical point that resonated with people, really great show if you can understand some of the early-mid 2000s references
