I think it’s pretty and I appreciate the dev’s intention, but it’s highly inconvenient. Let me explain.
You are in community A and want to go to community B. You have to go back/swipe two times EVERY time you want to jump to another community. That’s twice as much actions. I personally change community frequently and it’s a UX regression IMHO.
i would rather deal with a few incredibly minor inconveniences
tbh i have a roof over my head and food in my mouth, so i haven't really thought about the number of swipes i have to make in an app, it just isn't that important
i'm more happy that i have a beautiful client to browse an alternative to reddit
i'll sit here happily and patiently while the devs carve out their path lol
