I'm having so much fun in Palworld, I really hope it makes Gamefreak wake the fuck up

I can guarantee that Nintendo doesn't even remotely care about the game. Pokemon is the best selling IP of all time iirc, so they basically have no reason to change.

so they basically have no reason to change.

It's sad. I used to love the games but now they're just 70% mashing the A button to get through the slowest text boxes known to man

Yea after S&V were best sellers despite being basically "Sonic 06 but with pokémon", I expect literally nothing from GameFreak and neither should you.

The devs of Palworld also have to wake the fuck up, since their game looks like an asset flip. Sure it doesn't plays like one, but looks like one (no art direction, just use whatever stuff they could get their hand on).

There is nothing inherently wrong with asset flipping if they are used in a unique way, which they are in Palworld. It costs a lot of money and time to make your own graphics. Nothing wrong with using assets.

Dude same the weekend just flew by and I had 35h of playtime according to steam by yesterday. Even plays somewhat decently on the deck too! I'm a bit less hopeful on the GameFreak waking up part however x)
