Why haven't we developed large rice? (self.shitposting)

Rice is very small. Wouldn't it make more sense if each grain was like 8 oz? Then you'd only have to eat a couple rice

From all the time savings not having to figure out how to eat the last of the rice on your plate, and not having to clean rice grains out of fork tines.
