Electricity is not the only energy. Do you run your car with Electricity? Can you make steel with solar panels? Can you create fertilizer with wind turbines?? The last time we had as much CO2 in the atmosphere as today the climate was IIRC 4-6°C warmer than today and sea levels were meters above where they are today. If the predictions are correct we are on track for RCP 8.5 a.k.a. we are fucked and don't even realize it yet
