With the brake stuck it wouldve still overheated and caught fire regardless of the amount of cooling.

Yup I was explaining why it was no coincidence the fire appeared while entering pits and not out on the track..

Had max and the team decided to let him drive a few more laps albeit the smoke coming from the rears.. absolutely would have caught fire on the tracks

I think It could've also happened on track just before entering the pits, he was limping home for what felt like at least half the track. But luckily it didn't I guess.
