A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. A showerthought should offer a unique perspective on an ordinary part of life.
Rules
- All posts must be showerthoughts
- The entire showerthought must be in the title
- Avoid politics

It's great until you dare to say something that goes against the left
By downvoting the dude ya all literally prove him right hah.
He is right tho. Basically lemmy is even more left-leaning than reddit so anything even remotely right ruffles feathers. But at the same time people are more prone to actually discussion standpoints so I don't mind.
I have yet to encounter any significant amount of people looking for an actual discussion and not just crying nazi whenever someone dares to step out of line. Maybe like 1 in 50 is a reasonable response or something.
But hey, this is basically just the crowd that was moronic enough to think reddit was a far right platform in spite of literally all evidence, so my expectations weren't high.
