You can't see there's, they can see yours. And for good reason - if a blocked user was unable to see your posts and comments this means it would be possible to figure out who you've blocked in some fashion, which opens a huge can of worms.
Wait. Why is that a problem?
Blocking means hiding them from your online experience. Your posts are still public, there is no point trying to censor them... Somebody's could just create a new account to see them anyways.
But if they COULDN'T see your posts from one account it would actually give them more information: that you have initiated a block. That has social implications and could even make a stalking situation worse.
That doesnβt make any sense. If I suspect that a user has blocked me, I just reply to one of their posts or comments βHave you blocked me?β No answer = yes
Or you know...they just didn't reply. Not getting a reply doesn't mean you've been blocked.
thank you. this should be obvious lol
True, but again, who cares?
You, apparently?β¦
Well, Zikeiji@programming.dev has yet to answer you. What's the verdict, blocked or not?
Give it a reasonable time for response, but it's no skin off my teeth either way.
How long is reasonable?

Never got a reply. Guess they blocked me.
