I've opened up my own personal instance hosted on my web server for people to join.

Ay first it was just an alternative for myself to lemmy.world to take some of the load off, but I've decided that it would make good sense to make it available to others as well for the same reasons.

So my question at last, is there a community or similar where I can share my instance with others?

Though I think you can also share in the other communities that discuss new communities (mentioned in the other comment).
