Have you ever visited this place? I have heard they have very nice food and heavy transportation and so many cool mass events.

I was planning to go there for a trip but I have heard bad reviews from the past.

Also I was thinking to extend trip to the Xinjiang province to see the wonderful cultural and religion diversity they are famous for. However some folks tell me this changed recently?

Tht wasn't quite nice on your part, but still thank you.

Lying about the Tiananmen Square Massacre isn't nice, either.

It's perfectly nice to say things I believe to be true and learn that they aren't, why wouldn't it be.

Truth doesn't give a shit about your belief. You were wrong, that's it.

[–] pancake@lemmy.ml 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

So you think it's morally wrong to be wrong? That's an interesting perspective. It's usually taken for granted that people are free to believe anything (religion, etc.). How would you tackle that if you had a choice?

[–] goat@sh.itjust.works -4 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Why are you even debating this? You make a claim, it was false, that's it.

[–] pancake@lemmy.ml 1 points 1 year ago

Yes, that's it.

That view being wrong, yes.

Could have been it before that comment, but you insisted. We have had a fruitful exchange, I learned something, don't spoil it with meaningless pride. Hope you make lots of new friends here!

Dude why are you being such an arse about it? The other guy made a mistake, was corrected, and admitted it. There’s no need to carry on like a dick.
