It's funny how that argument would've been passable in 1987, but in 2024 they would immediately be cancelled.

As it should be. Deplorable things deserve to be cancelled. That's why we have laws.

Yes but laws don't matter much if the public opinion isn't there as well. Public opinion is there now, but aparantly it used to be different in 1987
