I just don't get why university students put all their energy on problems long away and overseas when they don't take up activism to make their own country better
Nobody organizes sit-ins and protests for the homeless... Because when they have nobody showed up.
Up to 45k people die of homelessness every year in the USA. Nobody cares about them. It infuriates me.
Don't actually bring up reasonable topics, people might get outraged.
I've been trying for quite some time to understand what drives the social outrage Zeitgeist, at the moment much of it seems like TikTok.
They do. They also do this. You can do both.
Because people organized to make it happen.
The current Iranian government raised up after a revolution led by Marxists and Islamists. After they dropped the previews government, the Islamists turned on the Marxists. This is why we have pictures of secular society from 50 years ago taken in Iran.
I don't know, I assume, the Marxists got manipulated again now along with far left.
Russia already managed to organize both pro and anti demonstrations inside the US to get USA citizens to kill each other on other topics.
No reason to think people's critical thinking was upgraded.
