Economy itself is a very intrinsic part of politics, people claim it's a "technical field" but at the end of the day the whole objective it's quite political in nature.

That being said I know what you mean, not explicitly and actively involved in political debates and such. To that end I agree with . @ComeradeSalad that spoke here before me, that science and health sectors are pretty fucked, a huge part of videogame industry is being fucked up too. But I think everywhere got worse with capitalism, in particular recent capitalism.
