Sony didn't care about consent when they put rootkits on millions of CDs.
That was 20 years ago. Let it go
Besides, there must be more prescient examples of Sony being shit bags.
There was one just a few weeks ago with Helldivers 2 and requiring PSN accounts on pc even if you don't live in a country with PSN
