Why does that strike me as obscene?
It's a naked woman, and if you could see behind the arms you'd get a look at either the origin of the world or the full moon (I can't quite get my head around which way she's bent)
I think if she unraveled she'd by lying on her back, feet away from the camera.

I guess, and the photoshoot would be more confortable. However my mind does not fill the gap (hehe) with a bikini
