Isn't Lemmy pretty much that?

[-] slazer2au@lemmy.world 9 points 5 months ago

Almost, I would guess OP is talking about places to post that doesn't require accounts.

Lemmy is pseudoanonymous, not anonymous, since we all have noms de plume.

The rest of you are all cowards. I use my real name on here.

Folks, he's just making his rounds, and is a little behind

[-] dogsnest@lemmy.world 4 points 5 months ago

He works for the Navy and the Rear Admiral is next up.

Hi doc. Any idea when I'll next be due a colonoscopy?

[-] dogsnest@lemmy.world 4 points 5 months ago

Why are you piling work on him?

[-] xmunk@sh.itjust.works 4 points 5 months ago

I pegged him capable of handling it - all of it, not just the tip of the iceberg.

Sure thing Seymour.

actually it depends on which instance you have chosen and the privacy policy of chosen instance. my instance doesn't require an email so it's pretty much anonymous like 4chan. but I want to find out some different forum or board that isn't Lemmy.

Edit: plus you can't post without an account on Lemmy.

It would be interesting to make a Lemmy fork that doesn’t require login and registers all posts as anonymous@(instance). Would probably get insta defederated by every other instance though lol
