I saw the entire extended trilogy in theatre two weeks ago.

We started at 11:30 and the last movie ended at about 23:55 (excluding the extremely long credits)

There were only two breaks, one 15 min long after the first film and one 30 min long after the second film.

I saw RotK for the 20th(?) Anniversary in theater last year.

Recently watched FotR and found there's a crapload of concept music (with lyrics) in the credits I had never heard before
