I had to read the article to make sure that you weren’t joking when you said ‘£800 billion’. How can any adult look at that number and find it reasonable? That should be a cue that the war needs to stop.

To turn the tide of the war, Ukraine will need to spend the equivalent of China’s $200 billion defence budget “three or four times” over, he says. This aligns with the assessment of senior British military figures, with one saying they think Ukraine needs another $300 billion to match Russia’s output.

Ugh.

It's such an obscene number that I want to write it on an artillery shell and fire it into Ukraine myself. Zelenskyy and the liberals who got us here should be forced to drink molten gold worth that amount just for saying it.
