They Live was a documentary.

Not only in the sense of commenting on capitalist society.

But no, sadly those people are very much human.

So are the aliens in They Live.

It’s sad because it’s immensely depressing and disconcerting that human beings can sink to that level of depravity. You almost don’t want to believe that they’re human.
