I hope Lemmy will grow enough to warrant a split like that eventually, but for the moment I don't think the user base exists.
The main reason F1technical exists on Reddit is that the main F1 sub is so huge that any specifically technical posts would simply disappear, drowned out by all the faff. I don't think the Lemmy F1 sub is at that point yet, so you'll probably get more traction for your posts if you just put them here.
Please do this, however! I'd be very interested to read that.
Echo that, let's dive into some of the rules or specifics more frequently!
I'm already working on that writeup. Hopefully I'll have something to share before Hungary.
