You mean the literal dog whistle for racists? Because a large portion of pit owners are POC so they get to spew their hate without saying it out loud. Ever wonder why they get all bloodthirsty about killing those dogs? There ya go.
I was mauled by a German Shepard with shitty owners when I was a kid. They're literally trained for military and police work, yet where are the GSD hate groups? It's almost like the people who hate pits, are the same who bootlick LEO and have thin blue line stickers. It's almost like breeds don't matter, it's the training by the owners.
Even despite that experience, I don't hate GSD, I hate shit owners. Shit owners make shit dogs. It's either that or Patrick Stewart is secretly pulling the veil over all of us.
But it's not really the dog they hate... so yeah let's not have them here.
Has anyone even mentioned the ethnicity of the owners though?

Pitbulls account for 70% of fatal dog attacks, while only being 6% of dogs. It's not a dog whistle, pitbulls are a violent and dangerous breed, and everyone I know with a pitbull is white as fuck.

Nope, pitbulls are a violent and dangerous breed. Labradors vastly outnumber them, yet never kill anyone. And there's plenty of shitty Labrador owners out there.
Breeds do matter, and shit breeds make for shit dogs.

It's the same deal as them hating welfare, weed, crack, the homeless, the poor, and people with "low IQ" (That one's mainly Jordan Peterson).
It's a tried and true strategy to push minorities into poverty and bad/desperate communities, then turn around and use that as justification to discriminate against them, "but not for their skin color, it's because of xyz".
