A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. The best ones are thoughts that many people can relate to and they find something funny or interesting in regular stuff.

Rules

  1. All posts must be showerthoughts
  2. The entire showerthought must be in the title
  3. Avoid politics (NEW RULE as of 5 Nov 2024, trying it out)

Less apparent with this one (I just used a clock face generator), but if the hour hand was longer as is the case with some clocks, it would look a LOT like 5 minutes till 4:00. I'm assuming OP's shift ends at 4:00 PM.
