Ibis is a federated online encyclopedia similar to Wikipedia. Users can read, create and edit articles seamlessly across instances. It uses the Activitypub protocol to connect users across different websites, similar to Mastodon or Lemmy.

It's been a while since I've heard any news. Not that there's anything wrong with that cause you guys are working on Lemmy aswell.

I'm also pretty excited about Ibis, but I think the main dev said they wouldn't be able to devote any more time to it right? If I had the skills I'd take on the project myself, it's really neat!

There's a Matrix chat for it, but it's just as quiet as here unfortunately: #ibis:matrix.org
