I didn't realize this series had an anime adaptation. The manzai bit that they do works best in small doses I think (thus the kind of short manga chapters). Not sure how well it would translate to anime form. Might try to check it out though as I do really like the manga.

First episode was not great... but it did get better. The humor is not for everyone, and I think the general consensus was negative, but I enjoyed it.
