Yes settlers forcing Palestinians out of ancestral homes at gunpoint is "propaganda".
The framing it in that way is propaganda, yes. I know I'm shouting into the void at this point, but anyway, you did bring it up.
Framing Jews as "foreign" and Arab Palestinians as native: Jews and Palestinians are both native to the Levant, and have lived there continuously for centuries (except possibly briefly during the crusades).
Jews and Arabs both migrated to Palestine in large numbers in the 19th and 20th centuries. Only one of those populations is referred to as "colonizers."
Historic violence against Jews is minimized or labelled "resistance." Historic violence against Arabs is labelled "oppression."
Extremists among Palestinian leaders are labeled as exceptions that don't represent the people, while extremist Israeli leaders are considered representative.
Of course it's fair to say that the opposite is true among Islamophobic worldviews - extremists among Muslims are considered to be representative, etc.
In the comments below, you will see silence or justification for these facts, but they will not be factually refuted.
I’ve seen your talking points before, and they don’t align with what I’ve actually seen any more than the opposite.
In this particular case, unwarranted violence on both sides is being called out and people are labelling Hamas as a terrorist organization AND the Netenyahu government as genocidal and not representing the wishes of Jewish people in general.
Palestinians and Jews are both being portrayed as the victims here, while Hamas and Israel are being called out for war crimes and unconscionable violence.
That's good, it means you haven't been pulled into the hyper-partisan rhetoric that has sought to make it a wedge issue. You're right of course. It is not a black and white issue and we should be very cautious about those who portray it as such.
Like the comment I was replying to above.
Aparthied isn't "hyper partisan rhetoric" when Palestinians are treated as if their lives are worth less than israeli lives, its an accurate description of what is.going on in Israel. Human beings being forced into open air prisons and detained and toutured for the crime of being born to the "wrong" race. I don't have the time or patience to refute your bullshit talking points. It is you who is under the influence of hyper partisan rhetoric also the delusion that your opinion is worth a damn while Israel starves and bombs powerless civilians and tourtures people they point thier finger at and say "Hamas"
