World has its own problems. The rampant use of slurs/general ableism is unbelievable. If you say a word about it they shout you down with more vile slurs/insults.

Correct. I've been here for just a month, but so far I haven't seen a single slur that's ableist, homophobic, transphobic, racist, or xenophobic.
I see variations of the r-word several times a week. A lot of c-word too whenever women come up.
Say anything negative about that stupid mbfc bot in !news and you'll get a ban.
Check my comment history. I routinely say many extremely negative things about that stupid MBFC bot in !news and have yet to receive a ban.
The mod logs don't lie and LWA has responded in this thread acknowledging the issue.

Did you even look at the logs for the bans? Things like telling a real human person (not the bot) to "fuck off" definitely break the rules independent of thoughts on the bot. And the admin's response was that they would look into it.
