I know people prefer to complain instead of act, but what is something people don't like but has an alternative?

"Fresher" probably isn't the right term, but freezing (and canning) usually has some advantages since the flash freezer is closer to the farm than your house.

They can be picked closer to ripe. Riper foods often contain more nutrients and taste sweeter.

Also, frozen veg can be made of varieties that are not as tough (required for transportation), so they can be selected for other traits such as flavor.

But you can also get those advantages by having a garden.
