Get rid of the nylon and polyester based socks and get some good ole cotton or wool.

It depends and you'll have to consult a doctor to be 100% sure.

For the terminally online like myself, lack of exercise and sendantary life style causes bad circulation. For other people, it could be bad eating habits. For some still, it could be a side effect of another health condition or medication. And each of these situations requires different approaches to improve the circulation.

Well I move enough and eat healthy so that's it

That's a lie. People with cold feet know, you put socks on then your feet are still cold.

[–] Ledivin@lemmy.world 27 points 2 weeks ago

Thinner/lighter socks, I guess?

[–] notabot@lemm.ee 25 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Moisten your socks until you reach your desired temperature.

the only winning move is not to play

Amputate your feet

[–] radix@lemmy.world 19 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Like with a blanket in bed when you just leave one leg out. You have to cut a hole in the end so you can leave a toe hanging out of your socks

[–] licheas@sh.itjust.works 7 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

wait... you're not just supposed to wear those in "naturally"?

[–] stebo02@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

exactly, if it doesn't have a hole for the big toe it means you didn't wear them more than 4 times

[–] felbane@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago

Sockless toes. Like 10 mini socks for your toes.

Wool socks are better.

Merino is good for the average man, more affordable. Darn Tough Merino wool socks have a lifetime warranty. Alpaca & buffalo wool are some of the absolute best. I go buffalo.

What pisses me off is I have like, circulation isn't super great? Or whatever? So my feet will be cold but also somehow sweat and make the socks damp, like, gee thanks body...

Chop the fuckers off, show them who's boss

[–] schnurrito@discuss.tchncs.de 6 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

put on socks and open a window

[–] sugar_in_your_tea@sh.itjust.works 2 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

It's below freezing out there, not happening.

[–] schnurrito@discuss.tchncs.de 1 points 2 weeks ago

doesn't have to be for long, just as long as it's making the situation better

[–] fallingcats@discuss.tchncs.de 5 points 2 weeks ago

Underfloor heating.

[–] nifty@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago

Jumping jacks, your feet are cold bc of lack of blood flow

[–] Hikermick@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago

Try neoprene liners. They're not expensive so it's worth a try. It's possible your feet get too warm and sweat which makes them cold and clammy. Synthetic liners wick the moisture away. Works in bed also

[–] Matriks404@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago

Put them on top of the computer tower, at least a bit.

[–] Zementid@feddit.nl 2 points 2 weeks ago

You can ether go multilayer or multi-sock..

I go multi-sock for cozyness at home and multilayer outside.
