Love those bag designs!
I do too! As a bonus they’re paper with no plastic so really easy to recycle!
trying new roasters can be fun when you get something good and it's a surprise. did this recently and was stoked on a light roast and now have gone down the light roast rabbit hole
If you don’t mind me asking, what did you pay for beans like that? I love a quality bean, but not willing to pay too much for them with the volume I go through 😂
It was between £10-£12 per 250g bag which for the UK isn’t the worst I’ve seen but still petty pricy. I still think that’s fairly reasonable for single origin responsibly sourced coffee. I’ll use 22g per cup so it’s roughly £1 per cup.
Next time I’m going to give Limini coffee a go, they’re another local roaster to me but their single origin 250g bags start at about £7.50.
The most I’ve spent is around £22 for 250g for some square mile Kenyan stuff which was fun for a one off but definitely not an every day kind of coffee!
I usually have a couple Asda ES columbian bags on hand and they’re 2x250g for £5.50. Definitely not amazing coffee by any stretch but I can’t splash out all the time 😂
Nice! I just found out a local roaster offers 4 oz sample sizes. As soon as my manual grinder arrives in probably going to be going on a bit of a spree.
I've been using reddit for years to find new roasters. Hoping to find some recommendations here. Let us know what you think.
