On one hand yes please.

On the other, I think I'd rather them do a reimagining like ss1 remake ended up being

System Shock 2 is totally playable still, especially with the HD texture mod - I recommend it to anyone interested. Played it for the first time ever last year.

The main difference between mods and the remaster seems to be that the enemies look strangely “smoother” lol

The viewmodels and their animations look way better now.

Oh yeah? Maybe I’m remembering it too fondly lol

Nightdive's remake of the first one was so good, I was hoping the second one got the same treatment.

I really hope they come back eventually and do a full remake for the sequel as well. But maybe the SS1 remake didn't sell enough that another similar effort would be profitable?

It doesn’t exactly look 25 years better.

Excited by the remaster. I kinda still want a remake in the style of Nightdive's System Shock remake, but tbf SS2 is a lot more playable for a modern audience.

If they got the coop working and user-friendly, I might be able to convince someone to join me for a playthrough. Regardless, I will certainly pick up a copy - SS2 deserves my money, and I want Night Dive to keep bringing back the good stuff.
