oh wow the people who support the genocide are very concerned that the victims are starting to fight back

real us-foreign-policy when it comes to concern for the civilians

But doesn't call for restraint on Isreal killing civilians. Funny how Isreal became the facist genocidal tyrants.

this all began when antifa thug nelson mandela normalized rudeness

I just love it when someone uses descriptives like anti fascist as a negative. It tells me a lot about them.

Western leaders really popping off with their support of a genocidal regime.

Are they actually that incompetent, or was it known and allowed to happen anyway?

Impossible to know at this point, but it's not like intelligence services are incapable of fuckups

True, but the timing seems very convenient for the current Israeli administration.

With the US having given so much hardware to Ukraine, I imagine that Israel is on its own. If this effort is sustained, I wonder what the US will do, especially if Israel asks for help. Intervention by the US could trigger other countries into action. Or they wouldn’t do shit, iunno.

Hopefully Palestine is able to get out from under the boot with this one.

The US has given plenty of hardware to Israel over the years, and they do a fair bit of domestic production too. I don't think they are hurting for hardware.

And assuming this doesn't explode into a war with neighbouring countries, I don't think this is a situation where hardware is the limiting factor. Both sides are basically relying on guys with guns going in and shooting the people they think need to be shot. That doesn't depend much on fancy high-tech hardware.

Never. Israel is the 51st state.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

International leaders condemned an unprecedented incursion by Palestinian militants into southern Israel, while governments across the Middle East called for restraint after an attack that shook the Israeli security establishment.

Egyptian officials said they were scrambling to contain the crisis diplomatically, including regular consultations with the Jordanian foreign minister, Ayman Al-Safadi, in an effort to find ways to de-escalate the situation.

“Egypt called for exercising the utmost restraint and avoiding exposing civilians to further risks, warning of serious repercussions as a result of the escalation of violence, which would negatively affect the future of truce efforts,” the foreign ministry said.

The incursion shocked international observers, particularly among the governments of the Middle East, upending expectations that Israel could continue to push for peace negotiations with former foes across the region despite increasing violence on the ground.

The Turkish president, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, called for restraint from all parties, a sentiment echoed by Qatar, which has long provided financial support to the besieged Gaza Strip and blamed Israel for the increase in violence.

The UAE, which signed a deal to normalise diplomatic relations with Israel two years ago, also issued a statement describing “deep concern about the escalation of violence,” and calling for “maximum restraint and an immediate ceasefire to avoid dangerous repercussions”.
