Fix needed: tapping on Lemmy links outside the app doesn't redirect to exact destination when Summit is closed (lemm.ee)

I have a link to one of my posts saved in my notes.

  • When the Summit app is closed (double tap on back button), if I open this link in my notes the only thing that happens is that Summit starts, but I'm not in my post. I'm just on my main feed, home screen basically.

  • When Summit is already open in the background, if I open the link I'm redirected to the correct post.

I hope I've explained it clearly enough, and it should be easy to replicate!

Thank you for reporting this issue. This will be fixed in the next release.
