Good thing he's not elected then...

[–] kreskin@lemmy.world 21 points 6 days ago (1 children)

He's not even good at wearing a hat.

[–] skozzii@lemmy.ca 7 points 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago) (1 children)

The dude sucks at everything but somehow has a mob worshipping him.

If I didn't have a moral compass or empathy I could probably lie my way to the top too.

Does he really though? Or is it just a legion of bots? I don't know anyone that's directly said they even like musk, I've heard support for dogs, but not any "praise Elon", maybe I'm just in the right circles to avoid it?

Liquidate Musk

[–] puppinstuff@lemmy.ca 302 points 1 week ago (2 children)

This will surely cost him votes in the next el—- oh wait.

Maybe we shouldn't be in a situation where billionaires have "approval ratings."

Gross.

Oh yeah. This is the type of imagery that got me banned off Reddit! Doesn't make the statement any less true.

WHY DOES ELON MUSK HAVE A MOTHERFUCKING APPROVAL RATING. MOTHERFUCKER IS NOT ELECTED. FUCK.

[–] kreskin@lemmy.world 8 points 6 days ago

I usually dont like all caps but you captured my feelings perfectly.

[–] dejected_warp_core@lemmy.world 26 points 1 week ago

I was gonna say: we didn't vote for him! Approval rating should be at 0% on that point alone as zero voters approved of this.

The fact that he has an approval rating is all you need to know about the state of America's politics

Little Hitler is not popular. I wonder why.

[–] IndustryStandard@lemmy.world 75 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Gonna be tough to get reelected

[–] Scrollone@feddit.it 25 points 1 week ago (5 children)

No need to be reelected when this was the last democratic election :)

Worse president ever.

[–] the_q@lemm.ee 68 points 1 week ago (3 children)

It's cool a non elected, private citizen has an approval rating and a job in our government.

A South African foreigner too, not even American

[–] Phoenicianpirate@lemm.ee 6 points 6 days ago

Especially since he is a crusader against unelected officials. I guess it takes one to know one! /s

[–] slaneesh_is_right@lemmy.org 2 points 6 days ago

When people shared that picture with his black maga hat i genuinely and unironically didn't know it was him. I thought it's so mean to make fun of that disabled guy, republican or not.

[–] OutForARip@lemmy.ca 56 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Elon Musk's approval rating is "falling through the floor" among Democrats, according to CNN's chief data analyst Harry Enten.

But he said Musk has improved with Republicans, going from -18 in 2017 to +51 in 2025.

[–] octopus_ink@slrpnk.net 46 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

"I have a clear mandate." 🤮

Shocking that the Republicans started liking him when he became more and more fascist and racist. They tell you all day long how we falsely accuse them of bigotry and racism, but they support it every last time.

Edit: I continue to love the one Lemmy maga who shows up to downvote any comment critical of the admin or Musk, but who never has the courage to disagree openly with anyone. I hope you read this, Sir, or Madam, so you can know the joy I take in finding evidence of your passing through a thread, even on my own comments.

It's like finding sasquatch poop in the wild.

[–] ToiletFlushShowerScream@lemmy.world 48 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Unelected acting president has an approval rating should infuriate every American.

[–] slaneesh_is_right@lemmy.org 5 points 6 days ago (1 children)

But he's rich, therefore a good person. -Americans

I think this was a more commonly held thought in the past, but I'd say many started shedding it following 2008/9, and moreso in the 2020s. The classiest divide is getting harder for people to ignore, and billionaires on social media aren't helping themselves lol.

[–] AJ1@lemmy.ca 40 points 1 week ago (1 children)

this piece of shit has an "approval rating"?

[–] Grizzlyboy@lemm.ee 25 points 1 week ago

All presidents of the US has had it, so why wouldn’t he?

[–] Jumpingspiderman@lemmy.world 38 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Glad to hear Muskrat's approval ratings are falling through the floor. But I would be much happier to hear that Muskrat himself were falling through the floor, from at least 30 stories up.

still, the shares in his public company are worth 50 times what the earnings could justify, and with lower sales expected ahead, some things puzzle me

Why does he even have an approval rating? Seriously!

Are we all just going to collectively forget that we never elected that walking pile of human shaped malignant anal fissures?

How does he have an approval rating?

[–] Treczoks@lemmy.world 28 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Through the floor is not enough. Dig deeper, to hell with him.

Why does he even have an approval rating in the first place? He's unelected.

[–] aeronmelon@lemmy.world 22 points 1 week ago

An approval rating implies he holds an elected office.

He does not.

[–] octopus_ink@slrpnk.net 19 points 1 week ago (2 children)

His approval rating is low? Might matter for anyone who needed to be elected. Doesn't matter for the anointed.
