Pierre Polievre's own uncle-in-law crossed Roxham Road on foot in 2018.

After failing to get his refugee claim approved, he appears to have lived undocumented in Canada with a deportation order in his name.

According to documents obtained by The Breach, Poilievre’s relative—the uncle of his wife, Anaida Poilievre—received help from her and an undisclosed MP’s office in 2021 in his efforts to get permanent residency.

WTH?!?

If it weren't for double standards, the right would have no standards at all

[–] dota__2@lemmy.world 8 points 3 days ago (1 children)

because conservatives are defined by their god given right to have a lower caste of human to treat like shit. a people the rules protect but don't limit and a people the rules don't protect and do limit.

Michael cooper likely the undisclosed mp.

Anaida was also his 'assistant' per gov records.

Seems Anaida Galindo (poilievre), pp's wife, has had her info removed from the gov employee databases.

Boy am I glad I took these a few years back

She does not appear as either galindo or poilievre

There are other galindo, curious if relatives.

Will find out.

And Poilievre, who has refused to obtain a security clearance, said "I knew nothing about it."

Rules for thee but not for me is a classic

Poilievre DGAF about anything except getting elected and doing the bidding of his billionaire backers

I'm not familiar with Breach Media who wrote the linked article. How reputable are they generally? I find the quality of journalism ok but not as good as others. Like Carrie Tait and Alanna Smith from Globe and Mail. (Reports following the AHS CEO firing/Private surgical facilities scandal).

Any insight on Breach or their authors/journalists?

Right?

So I am not a fan of PP but how is the hypocritical? He isn't even related by blood to this relative it isn't Hypocritical unless he actual has defended this relative staying in Canada.
