If this device had the OnionOS/GarlicOS experience it would be the perfect device for me. Regardless of that it comes with me every day to work. It's the best vertical form factor for longer play sessions IMO. Just wanted to show some love!

I got the grey running Amberelec and it's very nice but I did upgrade to a retroid pocket 3+ but kinda separated the two with the RG being a 8/16 bit powerhouse and the RP3 being a PSP/NDS focus with some widescreen hacks (bsnes hd) on the side.

The RG351v would be used more if it had 5Ghz wifi, and my router can't do both. Retroachievements are too nice.

Let me guess... Lemmy rotated your pic 😅

Yes and I love it, sadly I had back luck with mine because it stopped to work within a week when I bought it, I talked to Anbernic and after like a month of emails and slow process they agreed to send me a motherboard, which I accepted and replaced myself, but turned out it didn't have the rumble motor, I should have savaged mine, but due my inexistent soldering skills I just say fuck it and used it without it, which it sucks, because as a console gamer I like rumble motion when possible... Still i can fix it I guess...

I only have that one (black model) a Retroid Pocket 2 (not plus), and a Miyoo Mini which I treasure a lot because the lack of supply... And I like more the RG351V because the Retroachivements!

Yup Lemmy rotated my pic lol. I rarely use rumble but that's because I mainly use mine for 16 bit and below. Hopefully you get it sorted out!

Yeah, to be fair me too, but I liked it with PSX games.

"Still"

How retro. Mine went into an attic shoebox already. /s

RP2+ and RP3+ here, along with a strong interest in the RG405M. Love a solid 4:3 device.

Love my rg405m, it just feels so good in the hand. The shoulder buttons suck, but they have to be that way to keep the device slim.

Yep. Still have my black one with AmberElec installed. I love everything about it other than the display's somewhat muted colors and mediocre battery life.

I have not bought any retro handhelds aside from this. Pretty much use it whenever I get the chance. It is the only reason why I have not even bought a Steamdeck yet!

I loaded alot of PSX titles on this one. Mainly play JRPGS but oftentimes I end up playing games such as Command and Conquer and Warcraft 2 over and over again 😅

Yes, I have one too! Great device!

I actually plan on selling mine soon. I have an RP3+ for PSP and above and an RG35XX for day to day use.

I do find the use of one analog stick on the RG351V a little odd considering it struggles with PSP. I get it can be useful for homebrew or if you want a D pad replacement but I'm in the camp of two sticks or nothing.

I use mine all the time and it is great with ArkOS (AmberElec looks good too but never tried it). The chipset shows it ages a bit with N64 and up but for PSX and older it’s great.

I got a miyoo mini +, it's pretty fantastic. The only real drawback is how small it is in my adult hands lol. Thing is super compact.

Yeah thats the same issue im having. But its smaller than my phone so its great carrying around. I have to take a few minute break every 15 minutes or so. I wish the length was a little longer maybe but other than that i love it.

Yup. Rocking the latest ArkOS from June.
