I am not surprised.
What is surprising to me is why any "blue" state is paying federal taxes or following any laws.. or any of us for that matter. The law clearly no longer applies.

Because they’ll arrest you if you don’t? I mean the answer is pretty obvious.
Just because the law doesn’t apply to them doesn’t mean illegal actions by dissidents won’t be met by extreme violence. In fact we’re already seeing this.
If we could all do civil disobedience together simultaneously it would work but it’s not clear how to organize this without any leaders who can be rounded up.
I'm not advocating for it, but if people shot the SS when they came to illegally kidnap their neighbors they'd get the idea.
States don’t collect federal taxes. They can’t stop it.
We could collectively file exempt. Even if it was only for a month that'd be a statement. Of course we'd have a ton of people with tax issues the next year but getting that forgiven should be part of the demands.
FFS
Chief Justice John Roberts temporarily halted a judge’s midnight deadline for the Trump administration to return to the country a man mistakenly deported to El Salvador.
Roberts agreed to hold the deadline until the high court can resolve the Trump administration’s emergency request to lift the judge’s order.
The order does not address the underlying merits of the dispute and is not necessarily an indication of how the court will rule.
of course he ducking does. If he didn't, the court would have to try to impose some kind of penalty, and they know as well as any of us that they have no actual power to do so.
Ten gets you twenty that the man in question is already a corpse. Probably been dead since the judge ordered him returned. If it ever comes to it, it will be revealed that he died in an accident, and the courts will take a moment to wag their finger at Trump.
And that will be that.
Nazis gonna Nazi at all levels.
