It’s incredible that guys like him and Menendez don’t immediately step down. People are so wrapped up in party politics, they don’t even care about ethical standards.

It was just gold bullion from his savings account withdrawn over the Years in case of emergency. You know, like we all do.
Apparently Costco is selling gold bars now, should I get some?
Gold is a hedge against inflation. It is only a good idea to buy if the Economy is going to hell. Also, if you are buying gold for anything but ornamentation, do so through better sources as the retail big boxes have too high a mark up and you pay far more than you must and should. In reality, if you have enough money to care about buying gold for "investment", you should let those decisions be made by a qualified advisor.
Do they have them back in stock? If so, always a good time to grab gold.
Dumbass saw Trump getting away with shit and thought, “Me too!” Only he’s not Trump and even Trump might finally see some consequences.
There's gotta be a few like MTG who are sweating a little bit right now, knowing that the authorities are actually going after their illegal activities
Her name is Empty G.
MTG is already taken and we are not sharing it with that moron.
MTG is more clear than Empty G. There isn't a lot of overlap between politics and ridiculously expensive card games, use context clues to figure out which one people are discussing.
I stand by my position and comment.
PS try https://cockatrice.github.io/ to solve the cost issue with context clues about the overlap between politics and ridiculously expensive card games if you are having issues.
If only the left had a propaganda machine equal to one-tenth of Fox News, we could make this a punchline for the next five years at least. Sadly its comedic value will be squandered.
We're not the kind of authoritarian follower that propaganda machines like Fox work best with. We have our flaws; just not that particular one.
Which is why the ones directed at the left all failed and they focused solely on the right. Some outrage farm misinfo site owners flat out admitted that the left would more often than not validate before sharing.
You'd need unscrupulous billionaires to get involved but unscrupulous billionaires aren't generally lefties.
Why isn't this asshat in prison already?
Conservative immunity.
Politicians are famously blind to crooks.
Politicians are famously ~~blind to~~ crooks.
I'm sensing a pattern!
Santos not doing anything shitty for 5 seconds challenge (impossible)
This guy just can't catch a break cause he never gave himself one. What a fucking asshat.
All he had to do was be a normal human being.
Must be fun trying to find the most abhorrent photos of politicians when writing an article about them.
Couldn't happen to a nicer guy....
This is the best summary I could come up with:
The 23-count indictment replaces one filed earlier against the New York Republican charging him with embezzling money from his campaign and lying to Congress about his wealth, among other offenses.
In one case, he charged $12,000 to a contributor’s credit card and transferred the “vast majority” of that money into his personal bank account, prosecutors said.
Santos is also accused of falsely reporting to the Federal Elections Commission that he had loaned $500,000 to his campaign in an attempt to convince Republican Party officials that he was a serious candidate, when he actually had less than $8,000 in his personal accounts.
The new charges deepen the legal peril for Santos, who likely faces a lengthy prison term if convicted.
Santos’ personal and professional biography as a wealthy businessman began to unravel soon after winning election to represent Long Island and Queens last year, revealing a tangled web of deception.
In addition to lying to voters — about his distinguished Wall Street background, Jewish heritage, academic and athletic achievements, animal rescue work, real estate holdings and more — Santos is accused of carrying out numerous fraud schemes meant to enrich himself and mislead his donors.
The original article contains 357 words, the summary contains 194 words. Saved 46%. I'm a bot and I'm open source!
I am not surprised
🍿
It’s pathological with this guy. Like trump, he literally cannot stop himself.
