Is there any interest for the option to "hide" posts? I used it all the time when I was on reddit and would love to see it added here. The feature was always helpful to keep the homepage clear of posts I've already read.

Seconded. The lack of hide here for individual posts is one of my biggest friction points in using Lemmy.

I was thinking the same about a hide feature. However, on reddit, it rarely worked for me. I mainly used their official mobile app; could be why.

Voyager has the ability to hide individual posts by swipe gesture (by configuring it as a custom gesture).

Sync for Lemmy works this way. It's not free, but it is good, and IMO the dev is a fellow worth supporting after he got screwed by Reddit.

It’s in your settings… just uncheck the box.
