Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., told a crowd of thousands at a rally in Los Angeles on Saturday that the U.S. was facing a moment of "extraordinary danger" as he criticized the political, economic and social policies of Donald Trump.

Sanders, who also dropped by the music festival Coachella over the weekend, has been criss-crossing the U.S. to speak out against the new Republican administration.

"We are living in a moment of extraordinary danger," he said, "and how we respond to this moment will not only impact our lives but will impact the lives of our kids and future generations."

I'm really hoping we don't get another bait and switch for another milquetoast Neoliberal who only wants to maintain the status quo.

AOC has been joining Sanders on the tour. Please up/down vote my replies to this comment as a poll.

I would probably vote for AOC as president.

It’s gonna be up to us to prevent that, because they will absolutely push another neoliberal. One of the first things Third Way did in the wake of the Harris loss was to have a meeting about how to sound more progressive while being further right wing.

It’s gonna have to be a bit of all hands on deck for the presidency if that’s where we’re drawing the lines for electoral victories. They will use every tool at their disposal to stop even the most mild reformer.
