Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). President Donald Trump is a national embarrassment and an American disgrace. Fueled by his massive ego, he’s driving roughshod over the American government, the American taxpayers, and the world at large.

Impeach and charge him and his cronies with treason

He truly is a waste of oxygen

[–] TrojanRoomCoffeePot@lemmy.world 1 points 12 hours ago

Not just that the prick wastes so much of it, but stinks the place up for everyone else while he's at it.

[–] comrade_twisty@feddit.org 40 points 23 hours ago

I would be terrified for the poor dog if he had one. The fact that he doesn’t have one is actually a good thing.

"No books" is unfair. According to his former wife he used to keep a book of Hitler's speeches beside his bed.

[–] johncandy1812@lemmy.ca 4 points 18 hours ago

He's "written" more books than he's read.

[–] breezeblock@lemm.ee 7 points 20 hours ago

And that's what his base loves him for...

[–] thorhop@sopuli.xyz 3 points 18 hours ago

No dog? Antichrist. How do I know? Look at the president of Ireland and his dog.

I bet you could have a transcendent discussion with that dog under a Bodi tree.

Light would emanate from behind the dog, as it would muster human words and say "Trump is the death of the soul."

Your heart sinks, for now you have seen beyond the mask of the world eater. Behind layers of oil and fat lay the hungry maw of a demon - and you thought he was the savior.

His tiny, cold hands are placed on your shoulder as he starts massaging you from behind. It's as if your spirit was tickling his nose, as if one snort would absorb your effervescent soul from your body, and be swallowed into a pit of despairing souls as he breathes down your neck. He wants more, and more, and more souls for his maw, his crawdad declaring "Daddy's home" as tendrils protrude from his gullet, tickling the nape of your neck - letting off a murmur from one of his many bellies.

Hi, I'm Dan Clondyke and this was an excerpt from my book "Trump, the demon of gluttony", a manuscript originally drafted for a Steam Workshop hentai dating simulator, which was instead made into a 7 book horror fantasy series based around Trump grabbing forever by the pussy - and ripping it in twain.

I'll be doing a reading in Boston this weekend at the "Yes, there's a market for this sort of thing" expo, in the "Pseudoporn" projector room.

Incidentally, I'm completely daffy, but it hasn't impeded my political career.

Throw the Russian cunt out!

[–] adarza@lemmy.ca 55 points 1 day ago (1 children)

his voters simply don't care, otherwise we wouldn't even have this second season of the shitshow.

he's hurting the 'right' people and 'owning the libs', and that's literally all that matters to them.

They are happy to eat shit so long as everyone else must eat shit too. They want the lose-lose. So long as somebody else is losing because of them, they feel so darn powerful!

They are a disgrace and traitors to their own people. They went to blow themselves up and take everybody else with them.

They are my fellow Americans, and it’s damn shameful.

[–] sin_free_for_00_days@sopuli.xyz 3 points 16 hours ago

I've seen it phrased, "they will happily eat shit if it means you have to smell their breath".

Crabs in a bucket.

This title makes it sound like he wouldn't be a good Klingon, either. Which...is definitely true.

I bet he thinks he'd make a good Ferengi. But that's insulting to the Ferengis...

[–] zebidiah@lemmy.ca 5 points 15 hours ago

Ferengi don't bankrupt casinos....

Is this a leader we want to tell our children and grandchildren they can grow up to be?

Yes. His supporters admire his "strong leadership", and how he doesn't let things like "laws" and "the Constitution" get in the way. They would love it if their grandkids were just as selfish.

Some lemming wrote a week or two ago that the US has an epidemic of selfishness, and it has stuck with me ever sense. Everything is all about me, and anything that doesn't serve my interests is bad. People who worry about the common good are suckers and losers. Everything is zero-sum, and there are no win-win scenarios. This guy is the selfish President we deserve.

[–] Lasherz12@lemmy.world 20 points 1 day ago

I think normalizing anti-social behavior as a virtue is something to add on there too. We're all supposed to be confident nuisances to impress each other based on popular trends, but if anyone acted that way to us, we'd be upset. When upset, we don't think about our behavior; we think about revenge.

[–] Mog_fanatic@lemmy.world 2 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

It's so odd to me. Him as a person is easily the biggest reason I dislike him (and it's a long list). But I've spoken to multiple people about that very thing and have gotten some truly odd responses. I've been told that they wouldn't want their children to grow up and be like him. That they wouldn't want to work for him as a boss. That they wouldn't trust the things that he says. And that they wouldn't want their family or friends to behave the same way as far as the trash talking and being... very liberal with the truth.

But somehow, he's still the best president we've ever had and an amazing, strong, intelligent person. They trust his decisions and think he's the perfect man for the job of fostering foreign relations. I simply cannot make heads or tails of this. It's like people somehow have lower standards for the president of the United States as a friend, family member, or coworker.

[–] breezeblock@lemm.ee 3 points 20 hours ago

His base think of him as a weapon, not a leader. They're using him to lash out -- even if they're not entirely clear who or why.

Headlines from 2017

[–] inclementimmigrant@lemmy.world 13 points 20 hours ago

Americans have unfortunately shown neither honor or decency.

[–] SarcasticMan@lemmy.world 23 points 1 day ago

Wait just one cotton-picking minute there chief, you're telling me that the guy who forced his fingers in a woman's vagina in a dressing room he followed her into and then harassed and defamed when she spoke up about it is a disgrace? Poppy cock I say to you, good sir. You are seriously sitting there telling me the same guy who said he would fuck his own daughter is not decent? That can't be so. You surely can't be talking about the guy that walked into dressing rooms full of women, some underage, while they were in various states of undress and later said he could just start kissing random women and grab them by the pussy is immoral? What planet are you from? Booooo this article for its slanderous lies!

This country is so cooked, we deserve every bit of what we are going to get.

[–] MedicPigBabySaver@lemmy.world 15 points 22 hours ago

This turd needs to be flushed.

[–] suburban_hillbilly@lemmy.ml 19 points 1 day ago

How could anyone have been expected to know that he was going to behave in exactly the same way he did the last time he was president?

[–] Hayduke@lemmy.world 9 points 22 hours ago

He has, however, shown up at the golf course an unreasonable number of times considering the state of things.

[–] ininewcrow@lemmy.ca 12 points 1 day ago* (last edited 22 hours ago)

It's not a representative disgrace of one individual .... Turnip did that to himself decades ago

It's a representative disgrace of an entire nation .... because everyone knew who he is, what he did and what he represents and they still voted for him

[–] Semi_Hemi_Demigod@lemmy.world 11 points 1 day ago

Yes the Trump is made of Trump

[–] Etterra@discuss.online 3 points 20 hours ago

So arrest his ass already.
